I started RAIN E. Ltd in 1997, after a career designing and marketing in the wholesale shoe industry.  My last corporate position was at Ralph Lauren Footwear.  There I learned the important lesson of being consistent to a personal vision.  With that in mind, my line follows my individual vision.

My design technique evolved from my love of collage.  The creations are inspired by the elements I am working with and then by the juxtaposition of the elements, shape, color and texture.

My line started with scarves and pillows and soon after, clothing. When I was personally looking for unique jewelry, I started creating necklaces.  They are now the focus of my collection.

The artisan pieces are hand crafted and are one of a kind or limited edition.  The stones I use are precious, semi-precious or fresh water pearls.  The wire and findings are fine silver, sterling silver and gold filled.

Besides the intrinsic beauty of each hand crafted necklace, the “Layered Mélange” group has a very unique feature. The unique feature is the closure system.  It connects three strands, of three different elements (nine strands of wire). This system allows each element necklace (a triple strand) to be worn separately.  Owners of more than one necklace have limitless combination possibilities. Truly a celebration of individual style.

I have a strong following that has been established through private customers and trunk shows. Recently I sold four styles to Neiman Marcus e-commerce.
